Feeling better, getting more done

As of today the kids are caught up. I had a dental appointment on Tues and my not feeling well had put us just a little behind the past two weeks. The kids really worked hard and are back on track.

The Spider lady is gone. She molted - a shock to me as I didn't know spiders molted - and then she was gone. I'm a little sad. I was used to watching her while waiting for my coffee to be ready.

The weather is in it's usually hot one day, comfortable the next that is typical of fall in Southern NC. The days are getting shorter. And the boys can tell you why that is too. (We just finished a unit on the earth in Science today.)

Monday night I had the privledge of attending the Maxwell's 'Encouragement for the Homeschool Family Conference'. I'm going to blog about what I learned in a series of posts. I am just amazed and convicted and uplifted. The Maxwell's have a wonderful ministry. I'm reading through 'Homeschooling With a Meek and Quiet Spirit' now.

I'm glad to be feeling better. God is good.
